Why join Researcher Connect?
With strong communication skills, researchers are more likely to be successful at publishing their innovative work, applying for funding and increasing their international network.
In these online interactive sessions, researchers will benefit from:
- trainers with higher education expertise and experience presenting and publishing research
- an interactive format where participants are encouraged to apply learning to their own research area
- take-home resources for each module containing course theory, learning and activities.
The aim of the workshops is to help individual researchers increase their productivity. This will also provide their universities and research institutions with a competitive advantage in the fast-moving international research environment.
All participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the training.
Who can join?
We are inviting 30 early career researchers from Azerbaijan. Applicants should:
- be able to effectively communicate in English (B2 level or above)
- be a practising researcher, at the beginning of their researcher career
- commit to the training schedule (this is a two-week training programme, three hours Monday to Thursday, each week)
- confirm that their research organisation or university is permitting their attendance
- commit to one or two deliverables with concrete outcomes as a result of this training, e.g. in order to aid the publication of research, sharing sessions to wider researchers, increasing research connections and collaborations.
Dates: The programme is two weeks long, from Monday to Thursday each week, with three hours of workshops on each day:
- Week 1: Monday 11 December – Thursday 14 December 2023
- Week 2: Monday 18 December – Thursday 21 December 2023
Sessions run from 12.00–15.00 on each day (Baku time, GMT +4).
You will need to commit to taking part in the full programme during both weeks.
