ATMU staff visited Italy within the Erasmus+ program

Staff members of the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) participated in seminars held in Rome, Chieti-Pescara, and Forli in Italy within the PICASP project of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Commission.

Mrs. Saida Mammadova - Head of the Career and Communication Department of ATMU, Ms. Halila Mammadova - senior lecturer of the Hotel and Restaurant Business Chair, and Mrs. Gullu Asgarli - academic advisor at the faculty of Tourism and Hospitality as well as lecturer of the Tourism Business Chair participated on behalf of ATMU - a consortium member of the project "Pilot courses in Practice Enterprise to implement the University-Enterprise Cooperation for the development of Caspian Area PICASP" funded by the European Union.

On the first training day held an introductory meeting was attended by ATMU representatives, as well as participants from Kazakhstan, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, and Azerbaijani representatives of Khazar University and MIRAS - Cultural Heritage Learning Public Union. The meeting was organized at the Italian Ministry of Culture in Rome

Within the framework of the visit, which took place at the Ud'A University (Università degli Studi G. d'Annunzio di Chieti-Pescara) in Chiet-Pescara, the consortium members discussed topics such as the development of project documents, the work done during the project, the preparation of final reports, and the expected results in the continuation of the project.

Also, within the framework of the visit, enterprise representatives presented their reports at the LABIC-information laboratories campus of the University of Bologna, located in Forli. Additionally, issues of organizing innovative teaching process and preparing new syllabuses for the improvement of this work were discussed.

As a result of the visit, the participants expressed their interest in holding next meetings in Azerbaijan.
