Dear Researchers!

Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University is holding the VI International Scientific-Practical Conference on "TOURISM AND RECREATION IN THE XXI CENTURY: PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES" on May 5-6, 2023.

The main purpose of the conference is to identify the problems in various areas of tourism in modern times and discuss the ways to solve them and to discuss the prospects for the introduction of innovations.

The conference will feature presentations in the following areas:

1. Theoretical and practical significance of the study of tourism and recreation resources

2. Tourism market: current situation, problems and development prospects

3. Personnel training for tourism: current situation and problems

4. Application of information technologies in tourism

5. Current situation and problems of hotel and restaurant business

6. Organization and management of tourism business

7. Tourism as a means of intercultural dialogue

8. The role of state and local self-government bodies in the development of tourism

To participate in the conference, please fill in the Registration Form by February 28, 2023 and send the summary of the article (abstract) to the organizing committee by e-mail (conference-2023@atmu.edu.az).

Registration form:

• Name, surname, patronymic;

• Scientific degree;

• Place of work, position;

• Postal address (work and home);

• Telephone, fax (with city code);

• E-mail address;

• The subject of the report;

• The area of the report;

• The importance of using technical devices.

The Organizing Committee undertakes the selection of reports and the right to include them in the program in accordance with the program, and the editorial staff edits the reports included in the program. Materials that do not meet the requirements of the scientific level will not be not accepted.

The working languages of the conference are Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian and English. The whole article should be sent electronically to conference-2023@atmu.edu.az by March 31, 2023

Rules of compiling articles:

Each author can submit only one report to the conference.

Reports must be prepared in Microsoft Word 2007 or later versions.

The maximum volume of reports should be 10 pages (including formula, table, picture, quote, summary and keywords), and line spacing should be 1.5.

The page should be set in the following dimensions: top - 26 mm, bottom - 20 mm, left - 20 mm, right - 20 mm, paper size - A4.

The title of the report should be typed in bold capital letters in Times New Roman 14 fonts and placed in the center. The next line must be left blank.

Academic position and degree, the author's name and surname should be typed in bold and italicized letters in Times New Roman 13 fonts and placed in the center.

The name of university, organization and administration should be typed in bold and italicized letters in Times New Roman 13 fonts, and placed in the center. The next line should be left blank.

The annotation of up to 10 lines in English should be typed in italicized letters in Times New Roman 12 fonts with 12 mm spacing at the beginning of the paragraph. Line spacing should be 1.5.

Five keywords in English should be typed in italicized letters in Times New Roman 12 fonts with 12 mm spacing at the beginning of the paragraph. Line spacing should be 1.5. The next line should be left blank.

The main text should be typed in Times New Roman 12 fonts, with 12 mm spacing at the beginning of the paragraph. Line spacing should be 1.5.

The title should be typed bold in Times New Roman 12 font, and placed in the center. The previous and the next line should be left blank.

Numbering formulas should be indicated in parentheses (1), (2) ... and placed on the right side of the page.

Numbering of tables should be placed on the right side of the page. The title of the table should be placed in the center. The previous and next lines should be left blank.

The quotation from a work should be placed inside the text and its page should be indicated [5, p. 23].

The list of references in the bibliography should be indicated by numbers, and typed in Times New Roman, 12 fonts.
