Mevlana exchange programme

evlana exchange programme is established by the Turkey Higher Education Institution and financed by the Republic of Turkey. Within the frames of this programme teachers and students of Institutions of Higher Education of Turkey can educate and get experience in different universities of all continents and at the same time the academic staff and students of those universities can also have practice and study in different universities of Turkey. The main purpose of the programme is to put into practice the teacher and student exchange, to support and ensure the improvement of multicultural dialogue between Turkey and other universities of the world.

  • Who can apply?

    Teachers and Bachelors, masters and doctoral students who are studying at universities that have signed Mevlana Exchange Programme Contract can apply the exchange programme.
  • What is the application procedure?

    • Choose the appropriate higher education institution from the list of partner universities.
    • Contact with the chosen university via university programme coordinator and consult about the courses you are going to take
    • Continue your education at the appropriate university for the next term after being enrolled.
  • How much is a monthly scholarship?

    Students participating in the program will receive a scholarship of 560 TL. 70% of this amount depends on the success of the student every month, and 30% of the student's final result. The academic staff can get detailed information on the official website of Mevlana Program.
  • What are the terms of applying to the program?

    For Students: At the time of admission, the student must be a Bachelor, Master, or PhD student; average academic mark for undergraduates have to be at least 65, for master or PhD students it should be at least 75; 50% of language score+ 50 % of average score. Academic staff: At the time of admission, the teacher should be the member of the academic staff of the university, which has signed Mevlana Cooperation Contract; the language of the selected institution, and the level of language and language in which the teacher teaches the subject.

  • How is the teaching language defined in the program?

    For the participants the academic language is the language of the chosen specialty For the teachers the academic language is their training language.
  • How long the duration of the programme?

    For students: The program may be a semester or two. For academic staff: They may benefit from the exchange programme for at least one week or maximum for three months.
  • How many times can the program be used during the study period?
