General Provisions

1.1. The Student Youth Organization operating in a higher or secondary educational institution (after this "Organization") is guided by the general interests and principles of volunteerism of students, to ensure the protection of their rights and interests, their intellectual development, and the organization of the efficient use of their leisure time, in the social life of their educational institution. is established with the aim of increasing its activity, as well as creating close relations between groups and faculties.

1.2. The organization is in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, its laws, "Azerbaijan Youth" State Programs, the recommendations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Youth Found, the charter of the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (ASYOU), the charter of a higher or secondary specialized educational institution, and this Regulation. operates.

1.3. The organization interacts with higher or secondary educational institutions, state bodies, non-governmental and international organizations to achieve prompt resolution of issues related to education and students' problems.

1.4. The organization is an independent student youth organization operating under the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan in a higher or secondary educational institution.

The main goals and tasks of the organization

2.1. The main goal of the organization is to represent and defend the interests of students and each individual student in the direction of the implementation of the state youth policy, to ensure their active participation in the socio-political, cultural, social and economic life of the Republic.

2.2. The main tasks of the organization are as follows:

2.2.1. ensuring the protection of students' rights;

2.2.2. implementation of work in the direction of solving students' problems;

2.2.3. conducting educational work among students;

2.2.4. conducting projects on various topics with other NGOs as a separate structure

2.2.5. efficient organization of students' free time;

2.2.6. ensuring the participation of talented and creative students in competitions, Olympiads, exhibitions, festivals and other events held inside and outside the republic;

2.2.7. implementation of preventive measures against drug addiction, alcoholism, crime, early marriage and other negative tendencies among students;

2.2.8. organization of competitions, seminars, festivals, forums, meetings, exhibitions, actions, round tables, scientific conferences, training courses, mass propaganda companies, discussion clubs, discussions, symposia, meetings with eminent persons and other events with the participation of students;

2.2.9. publication of newspapers and magazines for the purpose of conveying information about events related to students and young people, as well as events occurring in the social-political, socio-economic and cultural life of the republic;

2.2.10. organization of associations, studios, clubs, courses and other services to ensure students' interests and inclinations, intellectual development;

2.2.11. raising issues to the Scientific Council for studying students' problems and making appropriate decisions, raising a petition before the management of a higher or secondary educational institution;

2.2.12. receiving information from relevant departments and faculties about the number of students studying, their attendance, discipline, accommodation and so on;

2.2.13. implementation of other duties not prohibited by legislation.

Note

Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management operates within the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management.

Samir Abdullayev, chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management, presents the report of the Student Youth Organization at the Scientific Council and voices the problems of the students and works towards their solution.

ATMU SYO has 1256 members. It includes full-time, part-time, local and foreign students.

Currently ATMU SYO includes "Sports club", "Debating club", "Cre-Art club", "Intellectual games club", "Chess club", "Speech club", "ATMU MUN club", "Eco club" shows.
