Zero Hunger

The second Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 2) focuses on "Zero Hunger," aiming to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition. ATMU plays a vital role in educating students, faculty, and the community about the importance of achieving zero hunger. They raise awareness about food security, malnutrition, sustainable farming practices, and responsible consumption in its several subjects. In this regard, we can point to the specialization of food engineering and the topics in this specialization that focus on food and food safety.

The university canteen is regularly assessed by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan to verify adherence to rigorous food safety standards. Moreover, the canteen team continuously engages in training to maintain and meet these high standards effectively.
